While traveling the California Coast last summer, I met up with Chanté and Josh on a beach close to Santa Barbara. After seeing some of the big beaches around Los Angeles, little Rincon Beach was such a breath of fresh air. Perfect for a California coast couple session.

We had been chatting away over social media and WhatsApp for months, so when we met in person it felt like we already knew each other for years. Oh man and did we have fun. These free spirits are the two biggest goofballs you’ll ever come across – at a certain point I almost couldn’t take photos anymore because I was laughing so hard.
From building driftwood forts to chasing each other across the beach. Building crowns out of kelp – I couldn’t have made this up any better. I loved every single second of this shoot and when the dolphins decided to jump out of the water, I felt like I was dreaming. California Dreaming 🙂 Fun fact: this California coast couple session inspired a lot of people, it turned out, due to a feature on Dirty Boots & Messy hair.
