Some elopement locations in South Africa take a little longer to reach. This coastal Cape Town elopement location, was no exception. After some debate of finding the perfect spot, we decided on the top of Chapman’s Peak. Marloes and Sebastien were up for the hike, on a beautiful summer day in Cape Town.
Coastal Cape Town elopement
We hiked up together with a small team. Even make-up artist Ida Webster joined us, just to make sure Marloes’ make-up remained perfect after the hike. It took us about 2,5 hours to get to the top. As we were standing next to the beacon of the summit, we were spoiled with the most marvellous views of Hout Bay and Noordhoek Beach. Table Mountain’s unmistakable flat surface photobombed the background like only Table Mountain can. Up there, Marloes and Sebastien declared their love to each other and danced until long after the sun had set. I will never forget the look on his face, as he turned around to see her in her dress. His wonder-woman.
