I always had this idea to photograph an edgy couple on a Harley Davidson motorbike.
But, you can’t just stage such a thing. I mean, for one, the dude needs to be able to ride a motorbike, right?
I’ve learnt over the years that faith works in mysterious ways, which was once again proven when I met Marloes and Sebastien in Cape Town. When those two randomly suggested “But what if we take a motorbike and ride it down to Jonkershoek Valley…”
*DING*
And there we went…
Fun fact: I photographed all the driving images while sitting in the trunk of a moving car.
Important Fact: We were on a very quiet road, driving in a ‘walking pace’
on the way there, Marloes & Sebas were wearing helmets – obviously.
